RIVER VIEW ROAD RESIDENCE

This project took a twist when our client's agreed to completely change the floor layout. The suggestion of flipping the existing layout of the house, (rooms on the west side were moved to the east and the east kitchen area was moved to the west side of the house) was a radical and courageous idea to say the least. Thus, making their forever home more practical and up to date. Where once was the primary bedroom is now the main kitchen area, and where their isolated kitchen was, is now their private sanctuary, bedroom, ensuite, and walk-in closet. This complete ‘flip’ was such a game changer. This meant that our clients would finally get their dream layout, which was more open and inviting, all while keeping the precious view on the Ottawa river..
